I'll call the heels socks now, they're made of silicone and can also be stretched. They have 6 small holes on each side for air circulation or that the sweat can evaporate better, I guess I had to. When the socks arrive they are dusted with powder. Since the socks are a bit smaller, I suspect they will either dent for large feet or tear after a short time or immediately when you put them on. I doubt if they bring anything like in the photo. For this you have to put lotion on your feet again and again or treat them in some other way. It won't help much by itself.
I find it very comfortable to walk with it... the calloused skin remains soft, in my opinion, because you sweat with the things on the spot... But it still works...
