Size 44 is like size 42. The sole is very thin and you can feel every little stone. Because it's small, there are no insoles to cushion it. The upper material is also very thin. These shoes will probably be gone this winter but I'm happy to be convinced otherwise. The lovely soft fur on the inside keeps you warm but the cold penetrates very quickly from the thin sole.
