Received the item today. It says the role would be made of brass (pure brass)... The only ones made of brass are 2 rivets on the roll foot and a plain bearing for the axle! The body and spool are made of plastic which has been chrome plated and colored! There are two gears in the reel...both plastic! When cranking, the reel hooks non-stop! The rod is ok exactly as described. Please don't get me wrong, but this combo is rubbish.... there are almost 8 € wasted money! If this combo wasn't advertised like that by misinformation, it would be ok as a gag. ABSOLUTELY NO RECOMMENDATION!
Okay for pier fishing. Does not cast well, but you can drop your line into the water rather easily and it reels in just fine. Feels way different in your hand than a standard rod and reel (even a telescoping one) but I think I'll get used to it. Would not recommend for serious fishers, but for occasionally fishing without taking up much storage, it will work for my needs.
I received a parcel with a damaged reel at the post office. Broken upper bracket with spool lock. Parts are lying next to it. But I probably missed something again and you will not replace the reel with a working one.
Convenient for the glove box now you have to see and try it well packaged and sends very fast thank you joom
